George Glover

George Glover, RDMS, is a distinguished sonographer and medical educator at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Radiology Department. With over two decades of experience, he is renowned for his expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasounds and his mentorship of ultrasound technologists. As a Clinical Instructor, George trains students from Foothill College, Gurnick Academy, and Kaiser’s radiology residency programs, emphasizing anatomical knowledge and diagnostic precision.

• Specializes in musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound imaging
• Develops educational lectures for sonographers, including complex topics like liver and pancreas transplant ultrasounds
• Mentored over 25 students, 12 of whom are now employed at UCSF

George’s teaching philosophy integrates hands-on training and real-time feedback, fostering confidence and skill in new sonographers. His collaborative approach and dedication to patient care have made him a cornerstone of the department. Outside work, he enjoys outdoor activities with his family, including hiking and snowboarding.
