Georg Jacobs

Georg Jacobs serves as Professor and Director of both the Institute for Machine Elements and Systems Engineering and the Chair for Wind Power Drives at RWTH Aachen University's Department of Machine Elements and Design. His leadership spans critical research in mechanical systems engineering and renewable energy infrastructure.

His research focuses on machine element design, wind power drivetrain systems, and measurement uncertainty in high-power applications.
