Georg Gratzer is a Professor at the Institute of Forest Ecology, Department of Ecosystem Management, Climate and Biodiversity, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). He focuses on forest ecology, climate change adaptation, sustainable forest management, and biodiversity conservation, with extensive work in disturbance ecology and agroforestry systems. His projects span Austria, Bhutan, Ethiopia, and Nepal, addressing ecosystem services, SDG 15, and community-based forestry.
