Geoffrey West is the Shannan Distinguished Professor at the Santa Fe Institute (SFI), where he also served as President from 2005 to 2009. He is a member of the Science Steering Committee and External Faculty at the Complexity Science Hub (CSH) since 2017. Previously, he founded and led the high energy physics group at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he remains a Senior Fellow. He is also a visiting Professor of Mathematics at Imperial College London and an associate fellow at the Said Business School, Oxford University.
