Dr. Gene Kim is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering in Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine. His research focuses on developing advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques for cancer diagnosis and treatment monitoring, particularly in breast and head/neck cancers. The Kim Laboratory investigates tumor microenvironment through dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE-MRI) and diffusion MRI (dMRI) methodologies.
