Geir Christian Johannessen is a PhD Research Fellow at the Department of Nordic and Media Studies, University of Agder (UiA), where he has taught communication and media courses since autumn 2018 across bachelor's and master's programmes. His professional background spans journalism and non-profit organisations.
His research centers on media and communication with specific expertise in journalism, rhetorics, multimodality, and text/discourse analysis.
