Geert De Wilde

Geert De Wilde is a Senior Researcher and Principal Investigator for the Anglo-Norman Dictionary (AND) project within the Department of Modern Languages at Aberystwyth University. He leads major research initiatives focused on the revision and digital publication of the AND, a critical resource for medieval linguistic and cultural studies.

His research interests lie at the intersection of philology, lexicography, and digital humanities, with a strong focus on Anglo-Norman language and literature. He investigates editorial methodologies, semantic classification, and textual traditions in medieval manuscripts.
