Gedun Rabsal is a Senior Lecturer at Indiana University Bloomington, affiliated with the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies and the Central Eurasian Studies Department. He specializes in Tibetan language preservation, literature, and cultural studies. His academic journey includes monastic education at Ganden Jangtse College and Rongwo Monastery, where he studied Buddhist texts, Tibetan history, and literature.

His publications include Rig pa’i khye’u (2017) and Bod kyi rtsom rig byung ba brjod pa rab gsal me long (2003), analyzing historical and literary developments in Tibet.
