Gazi Kabaș is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Tilburg University's Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM). His research focuses on sustainable finance, household finance, banking, and labor market interactions. He holds a PhD from the University of Zurich and previously worked at the Central Bank of Turkey (2011–2016) and as a postdoc at the University of Zurich (2021–2022).

Research Interests: Explores how unemployment insurance policies, demographic shifts, and climate policies impact banking stability and labor markets. Recent work examines unintended consequences of UI on household savings and bank lending patterns, and the role of aging populations in driving bank risk-taking.
