Gautam Pai is an Assistant Professor at the Mathematics of Imaging & AI group within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) at the University of Twente. His research bridges Geometry, Numerical Algorithms, and Machine Learning, focusing on geometric data analysis for images, graphs, and 3D meshes/point clouds.
- Education: PhD in Mathematics from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (2019); M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering & Signal Processing from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (2013).
