Gautam Kaul

Gautam Kaul is a Professor of Finance at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He holds PhDs from the University of Chicago (1985) and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (1981), alongside degrees from the University of Delhi. His research spans diverse finance topics, earning him the Senior Faculty Research Award for sustained scholarly contributions. Kaul has held leadership roles including Chair of the Finance Department, Associate Dean of Research & IT, and Special Counsel for Digital Education (2012-2018).
