Gaspard Pelurson is a Lecturer in Culture, Media and Creative Industries at King's College London. His research explores the intersections of queer theory, digital media, and video game culture through critical frameworks.
Pelurson's scholarly work examines representation of non-normative identities in gaming, queer readings of game narratives, and community practices within gaming subcultures. His monograph Manifestations of Queerness in Video Games analyzes how game mechanics, character development, and player interactions facilitate queer expression beyond conventional narrative structures.
