Gary Stephen May

Gary Stephen May serves as Adjunct Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and currently holds the position of Chancellor at the University of California, Davis since 2017. Previously, he was Dean of Georgia Tech's College of Engineering (2011-2017) and Chair of the School of ECE (2005-2011).

He pioneered programs like SURE (Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering/Science) and FACES (Facilitating Academic Careers in Engineering and Science) to promote minority participation in STEM. His work has produced over 200 technical publications in IC manufacturing domains.
