Gary Stead

Gary Stead is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance, Accounting and Business Systems at Sheffield Hallam University's Sheffield Business School. A Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CIPFA), he holds an MSc in Software Systems Technology and mathematics qualifications.

His teaching expertise spans financial accounting, management accounting, and auditing. His research investigates emotional intelligence development in accounting students. Professional recognition includes Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and the Fretwell Downing Award for his dissertation on software systems technology.
