Gary Rosenkrantz

Gary Rosenkrantz is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), where he has served since 1976. He advanced to full Professor in 1994 and held leadership roles, including Department Head and Parliamentarian of the Faculty Senate. His service contributions earned the Gladys Strawn Bullard Award in 2011.

Research focuses on metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of religion, and the nature of life. His work spans philosophy of mind, logic, mathematics, science, and biology.
