Gary Kuyper is a Special Appointment Faculty of Business at Cornerstone University’s Professional & Graduate Studies, teaching courses in project management, business technology, leadership, international business, and global business. He holds an MBA in International Business from Cornerstone University (2010), a Pocket MBA from Boston University (2008), a B.S. in Management from Cornerstone University (2007), and an A.A.S. in Electronics Engineering from Grand Rapids Community College.
His research interests focus on leadership development, managing millennials, project management methodologies, global business strategies, and the application of medical devices and technology to improve healthcare delivery. He emphasizes servant leadership and equipping emerging leaders to thrive in their professional roles.

Prior to academia, Kuyper served as CIO at Bethany Christian Services for 17 years, leading an IT team, and held roles at Meijer and as founder of consulting firm ACS. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master, and member of the Project Management Institute’s Western Michigan chapter.
He is passionate about mentorship and has contributed to organizations like Mission India and Read Asia. His teaching philosophy centers on using education to foster meaningful growth and influence.
