Garry Peterson is a Professor at Stockholm Resilience Centre (collaboration between Stockholm University and the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics). As principal researcher and director of the Finance to Revive Biodiversity Programme, he focuses on social-ecological systems, scenario planning, and adaptive management through quantitative/qualitative methods and participatory approaches.

His 2025 publications highlight coastal flood modeling in China, sustainable finance frameworks, and social-ecological scenario platforms.
