Garrett Schneider

Garrett Schneider is an Assistant Professor with a secondary appointment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware. His research focuses on RF/microwave photonics and nonlinear optical processes.

Dr. Schneider's work centers on high-frequency RF signal generation, transmission, and detection using optical systems. Key projects include:

• Photonic receiver adaptation for ultra-wideband RF imaging arrays
• Dynamic range enhancement through spatial signal separation and coherent optical recovery

Applications span wireless network bandwidth expansion and military electronic threat detection.
