Gamze Damgacı is a Part-Time Lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Gaziantep University, specializing in Film Design and Direction. Her research focuses on Cinema, Film Studies, Audience Reception, and Digital Media, with a particular interest in the intersection of gender, ideology, and mass culture in film.

Her publications include analyses of films as cultural texts, digital-age hate speech, and pandemic-related social media addiction. She has contributed to four edited volumes and one proceeding. Damgacı actively participates in national and international art juries, exhibitions, and workshops, often co-organizing events with institutions like Antakya Sanat Galerisi and Kahraman Emmioğlu Culture and Art Center.
Teaching experience spans courses such as Digital Editing, Film Production, and Photography from 2015 to 2025. She has curated a personal photography exhibition (2021) and served as a jury member for student film and photography contests since 2018.
