Prof. Galina Mirzaeva is Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Newcastle, specializing in power electronics and clean energy conversion. Her research develops advanced control strategies for power converters in mining, transportation and renewable energy applications.

- DC microgrids for mining and marine vessels
- High-performance control of power converters
- Electric propulsion systems
