Galina Bass

Galina Bass, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center and practices at the Montefiore North Mental Health Clinic. Her clinical expertise includes general psychiatry, psychoanalysis, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Dr. Bass has been with Einstein since 1989, joining as a psychiatry resident and completing her residency and fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center's Anxiety and Depression Clinic. She earned her medical degree from Sechenov Medical School in Moscow, Russia, and is a graduate of the NY Psychoanalytic Institute.
