Gale Louise Craviso

Gale Louise Craviso is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Her research focuses on adrenal chromaffin cells, particularly investigating the mechanisms of catecholamine synthesis during chronic stress and the interaction of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) with cellular function.

Her laboratory pioneered the use of nanosecond electric pulses to stimulate chromaffin cells without thermal damage, aiming to develop non-invasive therapeutic applications for nerve and organ targeting. Current work extends these studies to in situ cellular responses.
