Gagan Garg

Gagan Garg is an associate teaching professor at the Johns Hopkins University Department of Computer Science. He specializes in teaching foundational and advanced topics in computer science, including algorithms, mathematical foundations, discrete mathematics, formal languages, data structures, cryptography, computer graphics, probability theory, and statistics.

His research interests align with his teaching expertise, focusing on core areas of computer science such as algorithm design, cryptographic systems, and computational theory. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Garg held academic positions in India for 13 years, including a decade-long role as a lecturer at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology.
