Prof. Gaby Jacobs serves as Professor of Humanistic Spiritual Care at the University of Amsterdam's Faculty of Humanities, leading the Chair Group of Humanistic Spiritual Care (23 members) and directing the national Knowledge Center for Meaningful Living and Spiritual Care. Their research focuses on moral development, chaplaincy practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare.
Prof. Jacobs joined the University of Humanities in 1995 as a PhD candidate, later working across Dutch and UK institutions before returning to UvH in 2020.
