Gabriela-Oana Bodea

Dr. Gabriela-Oana Bodea is a Research Fellow at the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI), University of Queensland, specializing in the dynamic regulation of retrotransposons in neuronal identity and neurodegenerative disorders. Her research bridges Neuroscience, Genetics, and Social Science, with notable contributions to understanding LINE-1 retrotransposons' role in brain development and disease susceptibility.
