Gabriela Nicolescu

Gabriela Nicolescu is a Professor at Polytechnique Montréal, affiliated with the Department of Computer Engineering and Software Engineering and the LAMA-WeST (Web, Semantics and Text) research group. Her work focuses on design methodologies, programming, and security for advanced systems integrating 3D SoCs, optical networks, and heterogeneous technologies.

Recent Publications highlight her leadership in all-optical neural networks, formal verification, and security for avionic systems. Her work spans machine learning-driven intrusion detection, photonic integrated circuits, and ontology-based cybersecurity frameworks.
