Gabriela Mossyrsch

Gabriela Mossyrsch is a Lecturer in Harp at the Faculty of Music, Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, where she has been since 1985. She is a renowned solo harpist and ensemble performer, active with groups like the Ensemble Modern Frankfurt and TrioPartout. Her career includes roles as a founding member of the Klangforum Wien and the group Die Wiener Theatermusiker. She also serves as the solo harpist for the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra.

• Education: Studied with Ludwig Poduschka in Graz (Konzertdiplom, 18 years old), continued at the Conservatoire National de la Région de Paris (Premier Prix à l'unanimité).
• International engagements: Performances across Europe, America, and Asia, with chamber music collaborations and guest teaching at foreign universities.

Her research and artistic work focuses on classical and contemporary harp repertoire, ensemble dynamics, and pedagogical approaches to music education.
