Gabriela Morgenshtern

Gabriela Morgenshtern is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Zurich and a DSI Excellence Fellow, affiliated with the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics and the Department of Informatics. Her research focuses on interactive data visualization strategies to improve machine learning models in healthcare, particularly for recalibrating models through user feedback from practitioners and patients.

• Education: Hon. B.Sc. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, M.Sc. in Computer Science (University of Toronto), supervised by Prof. Anna Goldenberg and Prof. Fanny Chevalier.
• Research Affiliations: Vector Institute, Hospital for Sick Children, Canadian Bioinformatics Workshop.
• Research Focus: Human-model teaming applications, wearable sensor data analysis, uncertainty visualization in clinical settings, and interdisciplinary collaboration tools.
