Gabriel Neal, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor and Department Head of Primary Care and Rural Medicine at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He serves as Chief Clinical Officer of the College of Medicine and Vice-Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at St. Joseph Hospitals in Bryan-College Station, Texas. Dr. Neal has taught pre-clinical and clinical courses at the College of Medicine, directed family medicine clerkships, and led the Texas A&M Family Care Clinic before his current role.
- Education: MD (University of Oklahoma, 2001), MA in Bioethics (Trinity International University, 2012), and Fellowship in Family Medicine/Obstetrics (Grant Medical Center, 2006).
Dr. Neal specializes in Family Medicine, Rural Medicine, Evidence-Based Medical Care, and Medical Ethics. His work spans clinical practice, education, and leadership roles, with a focus on integrating ethics into medical training and community-based care. He has authored chapters in Swanson's Family Medicine Review and contributed to peer-reviewed journals including Medical Education, Family Medicine, and The Journal of Family Practice.

Dr. Neal is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and actively engages in public education through lectures, interviews, and writing on popular medical topics. His clinical services include managing conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, flu, and rashes at Family Care Bryan.
