Gabriel J. Assaf

Gabriel J. Assaf is a Professor in the Department of Construction Engineering at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). He holds a B.Sc.A. and M.Sc.A. from Polytechnique Montréal and a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo.

His research integrates four key areas:

Professor Assaf has supervised 100+ graduate students, with projects spanning pavement deterioration modeling, environmental impact integration, and infrastructure optimization in challenging climates. He maintains active collaborations with global partners in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
