Gabriel Cuadra is an Adjunct Professor of Solar Systems Installation at Houston Community College and serves on the Executive Leadership Board of the University of Houston's Cullen College of Engineering. A distinguished alumnus of the University of Houston, he holds dual degrees in engineering and business administration.

With 35+ years of industry experience spanning petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors, Mr. Cuadra retired from BP America in 2021 as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Workplace Modernization. He now dedicates his expertise to humanitarian energy initiatives through his non-profit organization energy4Humanity.
His professional focus centers on practical solar energy deployment and sustainable engineering solutions for underserved communities. Through teaching and non-profit work, he bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world energy access challenges, emphasizing hands-on solar systems installation techniques and community-focused implementation strategies.
As an active industry advisor, he contributes strategic insights to the Cullen College of Engineering's leadership board, helping shape engineering education to meet evolving energy sector demands while mentoring future professionals in sustainable energy practices.
