Ga Wu

Ga Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University, where he leads the Applied Machine Learning Research Lab (DAMLR). His research spans machine learning, artificial intelligence, recommender systems, and large-scale data analytics, with strong industry and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Advising and Funding: Dr. Wu actively supervises graduate students, including PhD candidates and Master’s students like Naihe Feng and Mahtab Sarvmaili. His lab is fully funded and currently recruiting PhD students for projects in computer vision and big data infrastructure in collaboration with industry partners.
