Güllü Mutlu is a Lecturer at Karabük University's Safranbolu Şefik Yilmaz Dizdar Vocational School, Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, since 2014. She holds a Master's Degree (2019) and Bachelor's Degree (1997) in Architecture from Karabük University and Selçuk University respectively, with a focus on architectural restoration.

In 2020, she co-authored a study analyzing the thermal transmittance of traditional horizontal load-bearing systems in architecture, focusing on structural analysis, energy efficiency in historic buildings, and thermal performance of traditional construction methods.
She is a member of the Chamber of Architects since 2003.
