Dr. Fărcaş Felix is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (since 2001), where he teaches Applied Informatics at the postgraduate and master's levels. Concurrently, he serves as a researcher and technological development engineer at the National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (INCDTIM) (since 2006), managing the RO-14-ITIM Grid site and leading the development of the cloud computing platform 'itimcloud' integrated into European CDI networks.

Research Focus:
His expertise spans high-performance computing infrastructures, including Grid/Cloud systems, network architecture (IPv6), Linux-based solutions, and distributed computing monitoring. He contributes to the INCDTIM's High-Tech Engineering and Advanced Technologies research group.
Projects:
He spearheaded the development of INCDTIM's DATA CENTER cloud platform under European collaborative projects. Additional roles include scientific reviewing and consultancy. Fluent in German (native) and English.
