Fulvio Reggiori

Prof. Fulvio Reggiori is a Professor at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Microbes in Health and Disease (MHD) research group at the UMCG. His research focuses on autophagy mechanisms, viral interactions with cellular machinery, and lysosomal function. He leads a lab investigating autophagosome biogenesis, selective autophagy pathways, and the role of autophagy in viral infections and neurodegenerative diseases.
