Fulvia Staiano

Fulvia Staiano is a Professor of International Law and European Union Law at Giustino Fortunato University and an Associated Researcher at CNR-IRISS since 2019. She holds a PhD and LLM in Comparative, European, and International Law from the European University Institute. Her research focuses on transnational criminal law, human rights protection, immigration law, and climate change legal frameworks. Staiano has published extensively in Italian and international journals, including her 2016 monograph The Human Rights of Migrant Women in International and European Law. She previously held fellowships at CNR-IRISS and University College Cork as an Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow.
