Fuda Ning is an Assistant Professor in the School of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University. He holds a PhD in Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering from Texas Tech University (2018), and bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology (2014). His research focuses on additive manufacturing, process innovation, and systems engineering, with a particular emphasis on advanced materials processing, melt pool dynamics, and material extrusion techniques. He leads the AM² Lab, which explores material-process-structure-property relationships in additive manufacturing to develop high-performance components for critical industries. His work has secured $3.6M in funding from NSF, SEMI-FlexTech, and industry partners, resulting in over 90 publications and an H-index of 39.

Key areas include metal additive manufacturing, composite materials, and multi-functional component design.
