Fredrik Saxegaard

Fredrik Saxegaard is an Associate Professor of Practical Theology at MF University College of Theology, Religion and Society. He serves as RVS leader and course manager for master's thesis courses in professional theological studies, qualitative methods, and pastoral leadership development. His research focuses on the intersection of professional theory, pastoral theology, and management studies. Key projects include studies on Norwegian funeral practices, church youth-profession relations, and newly qualified priests' knowledge development. Since 2023, he leads the Research school for Religion, Values and Society and has been editor of Tidsskrift for praktisk teologia since 2020.
