Frederik Spijkervet is a Professor in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen (UMCG), affiliated with the Translational Immunology Groningen (TRIGR) department. His research focuses on autoimmune disorders, particularly Sjögren’s Syndrome and salivary gland dysfunction, alongside clinical and surgical advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through his work.
