Frederik Andre Hansen is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Oslo, specializing in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry. His research focuses on electromembrane extraction (EME), green chemistry, and multivariate data analysis for bioanalytical applications. He holds a PhD from the University of Oslo (2021) and a Master’s from the University of Copenhagen (2018), where he received the H.C. Ørsted Medal as top graduate.
His work emphasizes developing EME techniques for drug and metabolite extraction from biological samples, high-throughput implementations, and chemometric modeling to optimize extraction conditions. Hansen teaches pharmacy courses at the University of Oslo, including FARM1100, FARM2130, and FRM-KJM9930. He collaborates with research groups such as Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry and SamplePrep@UiO.
Key publications (2023–2025) highlight advancements in EME for veterinary drugs, organoid systems, and peptide analysis. His contributions span analytical method optimization, green solvent systems, and LC-MS integration. Awards include recognition for his doctoral work and top academic performance.
