Frederick Peter Ortner is an Assistant Professor and MArch/PhD Coordinator for Architecture and Sustainable Design at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). His research focuses on computational methods for sustainable urban design, circularity, and urban resilience. He holds a PhD from EPFL (Switzerland), where his thesis was nominated for prestigious awards, and degrees from Harvard and Yale. Ortner has practiced architecture in the US and Switzerland.
