Françoise Labrique is Professor Emerita of Egyptology at the University of Cologne, specializing in ancient Egyptian and Greek religion, cultural contacts between Egypt and Greece, and iconographic analysis of temples and tombs.
Her research projects include epigraphic documentation of the Kom Ombo temple, study of the Khonsu propylone at Karnak, and analysis of Saite chapels in Ayn el-Muftella. Award-winning publications examine stylistic and theological aspects of Edfu temple inscriptions and cross-cultural religious interpretations.
