Franziska Proksa

Franziska Proksa is a Professor and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Creative Media/Technologies at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, leading the Media Creation Research Group. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Vienna and has taught at multiple institutions, including the University of Vienna and Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences. Her roles include Head of the Media Creation Research Group (2017–2022) and returning as Head in 2025 after a temporary hiatus.
