Franziska Mittag

Franziska Mittag is a doctoral student and research associate at the Department of Agricultural Markets, University of Hohenheim, where she has worked since June 2021. Her research focuses on agricultural price formation in fragmented markets, with emphasis on sustainability and the transformation of European agriculture.

Research Interests: Franziska investigates price dynamics in agricultural markets, leveraging time series analysis to study fragmented market structures. Her doctoral project specifically explores market relationships for protein crops in Europe, aiming to derive actionable recommendations for sustainable agricultural transformation.
