Franz Hackl

Franz Hackl is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Johannes Kepler University Linz, specializing in Industrial Organisation, Environmental Economics, and Health Economics. He has been with the university since 2002 and maintains an active research profile through the Kurt Rothschild School of Economics and Statistics (RoSES).

His research spans digital transformation in healthcare, e-commerce dynamics, labor market volatility, and social structures. Hackl has been involved in significant funded projects, including the FWF-funded NFN S-103 aging research coordination periods and e-commerce strategy analysis.
