Frans H.J.M. Coenen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Governance and Technology for Sustainability (BMS-TPS-CSTM) within the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS) at the University of Twente. With over 35 years of experience, his research focuses on sustainable development, environmental policy planning, and governance of energy transitions, particularly examining participatory processes and decision-making quality.
