Frans Bongers

Frans Bongers is an Associate Professor in Forest Ecology and Forest Management at Wageningen University & Research, with a strong affiliation to PE&RC (Centre for Production Ecology & Resource Conservation). His research spans tropical forest ecology, biodiversity conservation, forest restoration, and sustainable management of forest resources, with particular emphasis on frankincense-producing Boswellia species.
