Frank R. Gunter

Frank R. Gunter is a Professor of Economics at Lehigh University's College of Business. He serves on the Iraq Britain Business Council and is a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. His teaching includes principles of economics, economic development, and specialized courses on the political economy of Iraq and the MENA region.

• Economic development in conflict/post-conflict states
• Integration of quantitative and qualitative analysis in political economy

He authored The Political-Economy of Iraq (2021) and led key reports for the Iraq Britain Business Council addressing topics like privatization, corruption, and infrastructure challenges. His consulting work includes engagements with the International Republic Institute and advisory roles in Iraq.
