Frank Logiudice

Frank Logiudice is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Central Florida. With decades of teaching experience, he has focused on vertebrate biology and anatomy, particularly elasmobranchs (sharks, rays, and skates), and has instructed courses in Human Anatomy, Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy, and Vertebrate Histology.

His research interests center on vertebrate anatomy, including past studies on retinal topography and photoreceptor cell distribution in stingrays (Dasyatis sabina). Though not currently active in research, his work has contributed to understanding sensory adaptations in marine species.

Logiudice is recognized for his dedication to education, particularly in preparing pre-veterinary students for future careers. He has been acknowledged in university-wide honors events such as Founders’ Day, which celebrates excellence in teaching and service.
