Frank J. Lechner

Frank J. Lechner is a Professor of Sociology at Emory University, affiliated with the Department of Sociology within the Emory College of Arts and Sciences. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh (1985), an M.A. in Sociology (1982), and a Kandidaatsexamen from Tilburg University (1978). His research focuses on globalization's impact on collective identities, sociological theory, and the intersection of religion with societal structures.
